CCS Warranty

Card Clothing & Services, Inc. (Seller) warrants that new and/or reconditioned machinery and equipment shall be free from defective material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from date of shipment under normal and proper usage; Seller will replace F.O.B. point of manufacture any part that in its opinion is defective when returned F.O.B. to point of manufacture within twelve (12) months from date of shipment.  The Buyer must return all warranted parts within the manufactures predetermined time frame to avoid being charged. The Seller will issue an invoice that will be credited once the damaged part(s) are returned. The Buyer is required to obtain a return authorization number from the Seller prior to the return of any components.   This warranty does not apply to equipment not installed by Seller.  Seller will make no allowance and will not be liable for any defects remedied by others or for any work done or any apparatus furnished by others, without consent of Seller first obtained in writing.  Buyer affirms that he has not relied on Seller's skill or judgment to select or furnish goods suitable for any particular purpose and Seller makes no warranty that goods sold under this agreement are fit for a particular purpose.  There are no other warranties, express or implied; seller shall not be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages to persons or property, or for lost production or profits. There is no warranty on used or reworked equipment unless otherwise specified in the proposal.
 
The Seller expressly disclaims any and all implied warranty or warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose which would, but for this disclaimer, and attach to the goods. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description of the goods set forth in this document. This warranty applies to equipment only. The Buyer is responsible for all related labor and travel expenses required to install replacement parts.
 
Parts used in this machinery such as motors, aprons, bearings, electrical components, PLC’s, etc., not manufactured by Seller and purchased by them from an outside supplier are warranted only to the extent of the part manufacturer's warranty. This also applies to equipment that is represented by the Seller.
 
Removal or modification of guards, safety devices or other equipment items voids manufacturer’s warranty and is expressly prohibited.

The CCS warranty applies to CCS manufactured equipment only. All other equipment sold by CCS is warranted by the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
